          Fonts Missing after a CID Installation of OS/2 2.1

DESCRIPTION

After a CID installation of OS/2 2.1, the Times, Courier, and Helvetica 
fonts are missing.

RESOLUTION

Note: Make sure you have the original OS/2 2.1 installation diskettes
      before starting the procedure.

1. Move the pointer to an empty space on the Desktop and press mouse
   button 2 to display the pop-up menu.

2. Select System setup.

3. Select Selective Install.

4. Select OK at the System Configuration window.

5. Check the Fonts selection; then select More.

6. Check each font you want to install; then select OK.

7. Select Install.

8. Insert the original installation diskettes when prompted by the
   system.

9. Shut down and then restart the system.
