OSINKB01 - KBD01.SYS MESSAGE AFTER INSTALLING OS/2 2.21 OR OS/2 2.11 ON SYSTEM WITH MICROPOLIS DRIVE 02/09/96 ======================================================================= KBD01.SYS Message after Installing OS/2 2.1 or OS/2 2.11 on System with Micropolis Drive ======================================================================= Please Read Entire Document for Full Explanation of Procedures -------------------------------------------------------------- DESCRIPTION On a system with a Micropolis 1 GB Model 2112 SCSI hard disk, you get the following message: System cannot find the file KBD01.SYS. This driver program or data file is not located in the default path or the path specified for it is not in the CONFIG.SYS file. Install this file in the correct directory or the appropriate CONFIG.SYS file statement. When you check the CONFIG.SYS file, the correct statements are there and the file is in the correct place on the hard disk. RESOLUTION Get the utility program, UTIL.EXE, from the Micropolis BBS.
