DESCRIPTION

In a system with a Maxtor hard disk drive as the "master" drive, and 
another manufacturer's drive as the "slave" drive, operations become 
suspended during OS/2 installation or during startup. This is 
especially true if the slave drive is an older Conner drive. The same 
problem also can occur when both drives are Maxtor drives, but the 
slave drive is older than the master.

RESOLUTION

Make the Maxtor drive the slave drive.
