RESOLUTION 1. Make sure there is no compression program on the hard disk. 2. Type FDISK and press Enter; verify that all partitions are shown correctly. If FDISK does not show the partitions correctly, run CHKDSK and a virus program to verify the condition of the drive. After completing these steps: 1. Upgrade the EPROM for the 8590. 2. Change the NEC CD-ROM setting for SCSI I.
