       ZEOS Pantera P90 Beeps or Locks Up during OS/2 Warp for

DESCRIPTION

During installation of OS/2 Warp for Windows on a ZEOS Pantera P90, the 
system beeps or locks up while trying to read Diskette 2 in the 
XDFormat. The disk starts listing files and you receive a SYS0045 error 
message.

RESOLUTION

1. At the command prompt, type E CONFIG.SYS and press Enter to edit the
   CONFIG.SYS file.

2. Change: IBM1FLPY.ADD
   To:     IBM1FLPY.ADD /A:0 /U:0 /CL:NONE

   This disables the cache on the IBM1FLPY.ADD device driver.

   Note: You must do this before the first restart after Diskette 6,and
         again after the restart using Diskette 0 and Diskette 1.

3. Save and exit the file; then shut down and restart the system and
   continue the installation.
