RESOLUTION Note: Make sure you have a backup of any file you intend to change. 1. If installation is from a CD, do a DISKCOPY of OS/2 Warp Diskette 1. 2. Label the diskette, OS/2 Warp v3 Diskette 1 for PC Server. 3. Copy the IBMPSCSI.ADD file from the IBM PCI Fast SCSI-2 Support Diskette, which came with the system, to the new Diskette 1. Note: If there is not enough room for the file on the diskette, delete AHA*.* files. These are for Adaptec controllers. 4. Edit the CONFIG.SYS file on the new Diskette 1 and add the following statement AFTER the IBMINT13.I13 statement: BASEDEV=IBMPSCSI.ADD Note: Remove the BASEDEV=AHA* statements. 5. Save and exit the file. 6. Restart the system from the Installation Diskette. When prompted to insert Diskette 1, use the revised Diskette 1. ______________________________________________________________________ IBM disclaims all warranties, whether express or implied, including without limitation, warranties of fitness and merchantability with respect to the information in this document.
