OSINRSPN - SYS0318 ERROR DURING OS/2 WARP INSTALLATION 02/06/96 ======================================================================= SYS0318 Error during OS/2 Warp Installation ======================================================================= Please Read Entire Document for Full Explanation of Procedures -------------------------------------------------------------- DESCRIPTION Toward the end of installation by diskettes, the following messages are received: A. When the system finishes reading Diskette 13 for OS/2 Warp for Windows, or Diskette 15 for OS/2 Warp Fullpack: Remove the diskette from A. SYS0318: Message file SYSINST.MSG cannot be found for message 0970. into drive A, then press Enter. B. When the system finishes reading the Installation Diskette : Remove the diskette from A. SYS0318: Message file SYSINST.MSG cannot be found for message 0972. into drive A, then press Enter. C. When the system finishes reading the Display Driver Diskette: Remove the diskette from A. Insert Diskette. Then press Enter. RESOLUTION Case A ------ "Message 0970" indicates that the system cannot find the prompt for inserting the Installation Diskette. Insert the Installation Diskette in drive A and press Enter. Case B ------ "Message 0972" indicates that the system cannot find the prompt for inserting the original Diskette 1. Insert the backup copy of Diskette 1 into drive A and press Enter. Case C ------ The system is missing the prompt for Diskette 1. Insert the original Diskette 1 into drive A and press Enter.
