DESCRIPTION

SMC Ethernet Elite 16 NIC does not recover from the "find the hardware" 
probing during OS/2 Warp installation. The system locks up after the
first phase of installation. Pressing Ctrl+Alt+Del does not solve the 
problem.

RESOLUTION

Turn the system off and then on again.
