Problems Installing OS/2 Warp on Toshiba CD-ROM/Adaptec 1542C

DESCRIPTION

During installation, a red screen appears at Diskette 1 with the 
message:

   No CD-ROM device support found.

RESOLUTION

Disable Fast SCSI and Synchronize under the Adaptec Setting
option (Ctrl+A). This lets OS/2 Warp install Diskette 1 and
recognize the CD-ROM.

Note: The system has a Sound Blaster card, but the Toshiba
      CD-ROM is connected to the Adaptec 1542C SCSI controller.
