RESOLUTION 1. Open an OS/2 Window and type E CONFIG.SYS, then press Enter. 2. Find the DEVICE=C:\OS2\BOOT\MOUSE.SYS statement; add SERIAL=COM1 to the end. 3. Ensure the SIO drivers are loaded after the MOUSE.SYS driver. 4. Shut down and restart the system.
