          SYS1201 Error for SBD2.SYS Sound Blaster Driver in
                       OS/2 2.1 and OS/2 2.11

DESCRIPTION

The following error is received:

   SYS1201: The device driver "SBD2.SYS" specified in the ***
   command on line *** of CONFIG.SYS file was not installed.
   Line *** is ignored.

RESOLUTION

1. Make sure the Sound Blaster IRQ levels and address are correct.

2. Make sure the system is at DSP level 2.0 or above on the Sound
   Blaster card. If not, contact the vendor for the 2.0 upgrade.
