OSMMBLUE - IBM BLUE LIGHTNING PROBLEMS IN OS/2 WARP 10/25/96 ======================================================================= IBM Blue Lightning Problems in OS/2 Warp ======================================================================= Please Read Entire Document for Full Explanation of Procedures -------------------------------------------------------------- DESCRIPTION Two problems have been encountered with the IBM Blue Lightning 75-MHz with WAV audio or WAV audio driver: * Cannot play back or record a 16-bit WAV file in MMPM/2 with the Digital Audio mini-application. Digital Audio will lock up or generate a trap in WEPM.EXE. * Cannot load the JAZZ 16 wave driver in WIN-OS/2. Consequently, no sounds are heard in WIN-OS/2. RESOLUTION 1. Open the CMOS setup settings for your system. 2. Select the Chipset option. 3. Change the Memory Refresh option to Standard. 4. Save the settings and restart the system.
