DESCRIPTION

There are many functions which do not appear to migrate properly when 
upgrading from earlier versions of OS/2 to OS/2 Warp 4.

Transport and communication applications, such as MPTS (Multi-Protocol 
Transport Services) and OS/2 LAN Requester or IBM Peer for OS/2, are 
not upgraded and reconfigured.

RESOLUTION

It is recommended that you install the base Operating System first, 
then use Selective Install for Networking to install each networking 
component, beginning with MPTS.
