               Describe 4.0 for OS/2 2.1 Does Not Start

DESCRIPTION

When Describe is started, the icon becomes cross-hatched, but the 
program does not start. The system returns to the icon or command line.

RESOLUTION

Rename the STARTUP.ART file in the DESCRIBE\DLL to STARTUP.OLD.

1. Go to the drive where Describe is installed.
2. Type CD DESCRIBE\DLL and press Enter.
3. Type RENAME STARTUP.ART STARTUP.OLD and press Enter.

Describe should not start, but the graphical Describe window will 
appear at startup time.
