      Cannot Access Novell Server through an OS/2 2.1 DOS Session

DESCRIPTION

Getting "Invalid DOS version" message when issuing a Novell NetWare 
NETX statement in a DOS session. Cannot attach to the Novell server.

RESOLUTION

1. Point to DOS Window, DOS Full Screen, or an application icon; then
   click mouse button 2.

2. Select Open.

3. Select Settings.

4. Select the Session tab.

5. Select the DOS Settings button.

6. Go to DOS_Version and add NETX.COM,4,00,255.

7. Go to the DOS_LastDrive setting and change the drive letter to E, or
   the drive you want before the Novell drives start. For example, set
   the drive to E so the Novell drives start at F.

8. Save the settings and restart the DOS session.
