DESCRIPTION

Questions and answers regarding the Seagate Backup for OS/2.

RESOLUTION

Question 1: Does Seagate Backup for OS/2 come with a Disaster Recovery 
            Program?

    Answer: Yes, for use on the same system only.

Question 2: Does the software contain an Automated Backup Program?

    Answer: Yes

Question 3: What is the U.S. List Price for this product?

Question 4: What CMS (Colorado Memory Systems) products does the 
            backup software support?

    Answer: JUMBO 120, 250, 350, 700 and 1400
            TRACKER 120, 250, 350 and 700
            T1000 and T1000e Tape Drives
            FC10, FC20 and TC15 Controller cards
            (No Hardware Compression on TC15)

Question 5: What are the system requirements for running the backup 
            software?

    Answer: OS/2 2.11 or greater
            6MB RAM Minimum
            2MB Free Disk Space
            X86 or Compatible Systems

Question 6: Are SCSI Tape Drives support in this release?

    Answer: No

Question 7: Does Seagate Backup for OS/2 support FAT (File Allocation 
            Table) and HPFS (High Performance Filing System)?

    Answer: Yes

Question 8: Does the backup software support compression?

    Answer: Yes

Question 9: When will Seagate Backup for OS/2 support SCSI Tape Drives?

    Answer: According to Seagate, release is scheduled for the third 
            quarter of
            1996 (late summer).

Question 10: Does Seagate Backup for OS/2 support networks and does it 
             backup Binary Files?

    Answer: Yes, it supports backup of Netware but does not backup the
            Trustee RIGHTS or Binary Files.


Colorado Memory Systems is discontinuing Colorado Backup for OS/2 
(CBOS2, part number C4333A) effective June 1, 1996. The software which 
will be replacing CBOS2 is called Seagate Backup for OS/2 Warp Personal 
Edition.

This is a Hewlett Packard Reference Solution and is not being sold by 
CMS.
