DESCRIPTION

This document contains recommendations on when to install the 
individual DeskJet, Epson, and PaintJet printer drivers, or the Omni 
driver.

RESOLUTION

Support for the DeskJet, Epson, and PaintJet printers is in one 
driver--the Omni driver. The individual DeskJet, Epson, and PaintJet 
printer drivers are available in WIN-OS/2 and on the vendor's printer 
diskettes.

Use the Omni driver when printing on the DeskJet, Epson, and PaintJet 
printers. Use the individual drivers when the system unit is attached 
to a network and printing is to a 2.1 server currently using 2.1 
drivers.

To install the individual DeskJet, Epson, or PaintJet drivers, select 
Other OS/2 printer driver and type the path location for the drivers in 
the printer Install dialog box.  Or, install the drivers from the 
vendor's printer diskettes.
