       MACH32 Video Drivers Lock Up Starting WIN-OS/2 Sessions

DESCRIPTION

PCI Pentium systems lock up when launching WIN-OS/2 sessions in SVGA 
with the MACH32 video chip set. The problem does not occur in VGA.

RESOLUTION

1. Add the following line to the WIN.INI file under the [mach] header:

     ACEPLANAR=ON

2. Restart the WIN-OS/2 session.
