OSVIMCDR - ACCESS VIOLATION USING DSPINSTL.EXE TO INSTALL ATI MACH 32 OR MACH 64 08/27/96 ====================================================================== Access Violation Using DSPINSTL.EXE to Install ATI Mach 32 or Mach 64 Driver ====================================================================== Please Read Entire Document for Full Explanation of Procedures -------------------------------------------------------------- DESCRIPTION DSPINSTL.EXE or the Display Driver Install icon reports "A program encountered an access violation at 0002:0000c07A" when used to install an updated video driver from ATI for their Mach 32 or Mach 64 video controller. RESOLUTION If the updated drivers were obtained from ATI, contact ATI Technologies Technical Support at (905) 882-2626 for their installation instructions. Note: If the updated video drivers were downloaded from an IBM site, make sure that SETUP.CMD was run from the updated driver diskette.
