         S3 Trio Chip Video Support on OS/2 Warp Server SMP

DESCRIPTION

The S3 Trio Video chip defaults to SVGA during OS/2 Warp Server SMP 
install, however this causes the screen to be unreadable. The S3 Trio 
drivers have just become available. 

RESOLUTION

Select VGA mode during installation, or reset the system to VGA as 
follows:

Restart the system, then press Alt-F1 when the small white rectangle 
appears in the upper left corner of the screen. Type V to reset the 
system to VGA.

To obtain SVGA support, download the latest S3 Trio drivers from the 
IBM BBS (919) 517-0001 or one of the following Web sites:

Search with the keyword trio.

Follow the instructions that come with the drivers for installation 
instructions.
