OSVITIVR - VIDEO CORRUPTION WITH OS/2 WARP FULLPACK AND ATI VIDEO ADAPTERS 01/05/96 ======================================================================= Video Corruption with OS/2 Warp Fullpack and ATI Video Adapters ======================================================================= Please Read Entire Document for Full Explanation of Procedure ------------------------------------------------------------- DESCRIPTION Under OS/2 Warp Fullpack, the ATI video adapters, Graphics Pro Turbo and Win Turbo, which use VRAM and a Mach 64 chip set, cause video corruption in WIN-OS/2 Full Screen sessions. This corruption appears leaves ghost-like images of icons and, sometimes, duplicates of WIN-OS/2 desktops. RESOLUTION Add BLOCKWRITE=OFF to the SYSTEM.INI files: 1. Open an OS/2 Window . 2. Change to the OS2\MDOS\WINOS2 subdirectory. 3. Type E SYSTEM.INI to edit the file. 4. Add BLOCKWRITE=OFF under the [MACX] section. 5. Save and exit the file. 6.
