RESOLUTION Note: The system must be set to Video Graphics Array (VGA) before attempting to install Super Video Graphics Array (SVGA) support. If you have another SVGA driver installed, use Selective Install to set the primary video back to VGA before proceeding. To install SVGA support on an OS/2 Warp 4 system running the VGA driver: 1. Download the file UTTPGOS2.EXE from the IBM PC Company BBS at (919) 517-0001. Follow the instructions provided to install the ThinkPad Utilities V5.0. 2. Once installed, under ThinkPad Options-Display, set the video to presentation mode. Under Advanced, set the screen to Screen Expansion; this causes fullscreen text sessions to fill up the screen. 3. Download the file VFTPOS2.EXE from the IBM PC Company BBS and follow the instructions provided to install the ThinkPad 760ED OS/2 Warp SVGA drivers. After you restart the computer, you can change the video resolution by double-clicking on the System icon in the System Setup folder. Note: These drivers were written by Trident for the IBM PC Company. For further information or support of these drivers, contact the PC Company Hardware Support center at 800-PS2-2227. warp4 ______________________________________________________________________ IBM disclaims all warranties, whether express or implied, including without limitation, warranties of fitness and merchantability with respect to the information in this document.
