         Adobe Type 1 Fonts Cannot be Found--All OS/2 Releases

DESCRIPTION

The OS/2 operating system requires an Adobe font metrics (AFM) file in 
order to recognize an Adobe Type 1 font. Some font manufacturers ship 
only PFB and PFM font files.

RESOLUTION

1. Check the source of your font files. Be sure the AFM files are not
   in another directory or in a compressed file.

2. Check the documentation that came with the fonts.

3. Call the font manufacturer.

4. Try creating the file with a PFM-to-AFM conversion program (various
   shareware versions are available).

5. Get a commercial font editor.
