         WIN32S Error Messages in OS/2 Warp

DESCRIPTION

When trying to start Microsoft Windows 32-bit programs in OS/2
Warp, the following error messages are received:

   WIN32S ERROR:  Incorrect version of WIN32S is loaded please
                  correct or re-install.

   WIN32S ERROR:  The math-coprocessor emulator could not be
                  located.

Some of the applications experiencing these problems are:

* AutoCad 13
* Borland C++ Version 4.0 for Windows
* EasyFlow Version 3.0 for Windows
* MS Visual C++
* PageMaker Version 6.0 by Adobe 
* Visual FoxPro Version 3.0
* WordScan 4.0 for Windows


RESOLUTION

WIN32S Versions 1.0 and 1.15 support Windows applications.

The versions of WIN32S that support Windows applications are 1.0
and 1.15. Most available applications that use WIN32S require
higher levels of support than 1.0, which at this time is not
supported in OS/2 Warp versions.
