Printer Objects Not Found after Installing OS/2 Warp 4 over a Previous 
Version of OS/2

DESCRIPTION

When installing OS/2 Warp 4 over a prior installation of OS/2, printer 
objects from the prior installation are not migrated to the new Desktop.

RESOLUTION

Because OS/2 Warp 4 creates a new Desktop and saves the old Desktop 
contents in the Previous Desktop folder, you will find your printer 
objects in this folder. You can simply drag and drop them onto the new 
OS/2 Warp 4 Desktop. Printing to these printers still functions 
properly. The only printer icons that appear on the new Desktop are new 
printers that were installed during the OS/2 Warp 4 installation and 
are different from the previously existing printer objects.
