        Desktop Settings are not Saved at Shutdown in OS/2 Warp

DESCRIPTION

Settings that are changed and saved on the Desktop are not being saved 
during shutdown.

RESOLUTION

1. Move the mouse pointer to an empty area on the Desktop and click
   mouse button 2 to get the pop-up menu.

2. Select Settings to open the Settings notebook.

3. Select the Desktop tab.

4. Check the Save Desktop settings box.

5. Close the Settings notebook.

If the problem continues, the Read-Only bit on the INI files needs to 
be reversed.
