Adding Iomega ZIP drive support to OS/2 bootable diskettes. This process works for the PP version of the ZIP drive. I downloaded the ZIP OS/2 drivers from the Iomega CIS forum. The Iomega forum has disappeared from CIS. Iomega is charging $19.95 for the OS/2 drivers but were free when downloaded from CIS. Now for the hard part. I am using WARP and WARP Fullpack and have ZIP support working for both types of bootable diskettes. 1. Install the Iomega OS/2 drivers and get the ZIP drive working. 2. Create the bootable diskettes using the OS/2 create utility diskette function. 3. On the second disk create a directory called OAD. Copy the following files into it: CONFIG.DEV ZIP-100.DEV OS2.SYS IOM$ERR.DAT IOM$MSG.DAT PPA.OPT PPA3.OPT CONFIG.OAD NULLDEV.DEV NULLADP.ADP NULLADP.OPT NULLDEV.OPT PPA.ADP PPA3.ADP 4. Add the following line to the CONFIG.SYS file on the second disk: device=a:\oad\os2.sys That's it. Boot OS/2 from the diskettes and you should have access to the ZIP drive.
