DETERMINING WHICH VERSION IS INSTALLED

[Windows XP]
 1. Click Start and then click Control Panel.
 2. Click Add/Remove Programs.
 3. Select Access IBM.
 4. Click 'Click here for support information' link.
    You will see the version information on the screen.

[Windows 2000]
 1. Click Start, click Settings, then click Control Panel.
 2. Double-click the Add/Remove Programs icon.
 3. Select Access IBM.
 4. Click 'Click here for support information' link.
    You will see the version information on the screen.

INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS

Notes:
  Prior to installing this software, install the following software,
  first.
  - ThinkPad Configuration Utility
  - ThinkPad Hotkey Features


  There are following ways for installation.
  (A) Install
  (B) Unattended Install


(A) Install

  This section assumes to use Internet Explorer and Explorer.

(Downloading files)
 1. Click once on the underlined file name with the left mouse button.
    Once this is done, a pop-up window will appear.
 2. In this pop-up window, choose (using the left mouse button) the
    directory you would like to download the file to and click the
    "Save" button. A different window will appear and the download
    will begin and complete without your assistance.
 3. Once the download has completed, there may or may not be a message
    stating that the download completed successfully.
 4. After being downloaded, the file will need to be extracted.

(Extracting files)
 5. Locate the directory where the file was downloaded.
 6. Locate the file that was just downloaded and double click it using
    the left mouse button.
 7. The file will begin to extract in the directory where the
    downloaded file is located.

(Installing files)
 8. Make sure to be logged on with administrative privileges.
 9. Open an Explorer and locate the directory where the files were
    extracted.
10. Double-click SETUP file.
11. Follow the instructions on the screen.


(B) Unattended Install
    Refer to the Unattended Install section bellow.

- Refer to the Install in INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS section, and
  download and expand the files.
- At the command line, execute SETUP.EXE with the /s /w /v"/qn"
  options.
  (For example)
  [Path where the files were extracted]\SETUP /s /w /v"/qn"

 1. log on with administrative privileges.
 2. Click Start and then click Control Panel.
 3. Click Add/Remove Programs.
 4. Select Access IBM.
 5. Click the Remove button.
 6. Follow instructions and restart the computer.

[Windows 2000]
 1. log on with administrative privileges.
 2. Click Start, click Settings, then click Control Panel.
 3. Double-click the Add/Remove Programs icon.
 4. Select Access IBM.
 5. Click the Remove button.
 6. Follow instructions and restart the computer.
