Consult your system administrator or Microsoft Windows NT User's Manual for more information on Administrator privileges. 1 Start Microsoft Windows NT 4.0. 2 Click the Start button on the control bar, point to Settings, and click Control Panel. 3 Double-click Display, click the Settings tab, click Display Type, then click Change. 4 Click Have Disk. 5 Select or type the path to the driver files, then click OK. Windows should find files for your NVIDIA graphics chip. If Windows cannot find the files, check that the path name for the driver files is correct. 6 If Windows found the files, select OK. 7 Click Yes when Windows NT informs you that you are installing a third party driver and asks if you wish to proceed. Windows NT copies the files to the hard disk. 8 Click OK, click Close, then click Close. 9 Click Yes when Windows NT asks if you wish to restart the computer. Silent installation instructions -------------------------------- To install the drivers without any interaction 1 Click the Start button, click Run, and click Browse. 2 Find the directory containing the driver files, click SETUP.EXE, and click Open. 3 To the end of the path to SETUP.EXE, add a space, add a -a, add a double quote, add the name of the adapter that you're installing, add another double quote, add another space, then add a -s. It should look similar to: d:\NVIDIA\setup.exe -a"Number Nine Pepper M32" -s 4 Click OK. Setup will install the driver files and reboot the system when complete. Uninstall instructions ---------------------- Windows NT ---------- 1 These drivers must be uninstalled by a user with Windows NT Administrator privileges. Please consult your system administrator or Microsoft Windows NT User's Manual for more information on Administrator privileges. 2 Start Microsoft Windows NT 4.0. 3 Click Start control bar option, point to Settings, and click Control Panel. 4 Double-click Add/Remove Programs, click NVIDIA Windows NT 4.0 Display Drivers, click Add/Remove. 5 Click Yes when asked if you wish to continue. 6 Click OK when asked if you wish to restart the computer.
