Installation for Windows NT 4.0 1. BEFORE downloading the Rockwell modem driver QF4T14A.EXE, create a new directory named C:\Rockwell on your hard drive. 2. Download the Rockwell modem driver into the C:\Rockwell directory. 3. QF4T14A.EXE is a self extracting file. Extract the files by double clicking, or by highlighting the file and pressing the key from Windows NT Explorer. 4. Start SETUP.EXE by double clicking, or by highlighting the file and pressing the key from Windows NT Explorer. You will see a welcome screen. Click on the Next button; you should see the modem in the display window. Click on the Next button to install the driver. If the installer tells you the modem driver is already running, you may un-install it using the Add/Remove Programs Control Panel applet. Select the modem, press the Add/Remove button and you will see the Modem Un-Installer Wizard. Press the Next button at the first screen and the Finish button at the second. You can now re-start the SETUP program. While the SETUP program installs the driver, you should see a few copy operations and hear a small flurry of disk activity, followed by the next screen, which says, "the following drivers were installed successfully." The driver is now installed and running. 5. After confirming that the modem dials and establishes a connection properly, you may delete all files contained in the C:\Rockwell directory and the directory itself. QF4T14A.EXE may be saved in order to resinstall the driver if needed.
