Installation Guide ------------------ Note: - To determine if you should update the utility programs, refer to the "Summary of Changes" section of each small package. - ThinkPad Software Installer provides install/uninstall wizard for this package. INSTALL: (For Windows NT 3.51) 1. Start Windows NT 3.51, and logon with the user ID authorized as an administrator. 2. Extract this package onto the hard drive. 3. Select File from the Program Manager window; then select Run... from the pull-down menu. 4. Type [Program Path]\SETUP and press Enter. Program Path is the full path name where you extracted the package in the step 2, and click OK. 5. Follow the instructions on the screen. The default choices are already highlighted in the Installation Options screen. (For Windows NT 4.0) 1. Start Windows NT 4.0, and logon with the user ID authorized as an administrator. 2. Extract this package onto the hard drive. 3. Click 'Start' -> 'Run...'. 4. Type [Program Path]\SETUP and press Enter. Program Path is the full path name where you extracted the package in the step 2, and click OK. 5. Follow the instructions on the screen. Note: *1 From Version A-4.40, package structure was re-organized. If you already installed "Utility package" for each operating system, please uninstall it first before you install this package. Then you need to install the following packages too.
