WHAT THIS PACKAGE DOES

This package provides the Chipset INF for Windows XP users.  The
Chipset INF updates the Chipset functions of Intel Chipsets.  The
following Chipset is integrated into your Lenovo 3000 system:

  Mobile Intel(R)915GM/PM/GMS/910GML Express Processor to
  DRAM Controller - 2590

To determine if you should update the Chipset INF refer to the
"History of Changes" section.

To update the Chipset INF, refer to the "Installation Instructions"
section.

INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS

DETERMINING WHICH VERSION IS INSTALLED:

  1. Right-click My Computer, and then click Properties.
  2. Click the Hardware tab, and then click Device Manager.
  3. Click the + sign in front of the System devices category.
  4. Double-click Mobile Intel(R)915GM/PM/GMS/910GML Express Processor
     to DRAM Controller - 2590.
  5. Click the Driver tab, and the driver version will be displayed.

INSTALL:

  1. Logon to Windows with administrative privileges.
  2. Extract this package by double-clicking the downloaded file.
     The default extract location is C:\OSFIXES\INTELINF
  3. Click Start.
  4. Click Run.
  5. Specify CHIPSET(6.1.0.1008)\SETUP.EXE with the full path name
     where you extracted the package in step 2 above, and click OK.
  6. The installation wizard will be launched.
  7. When prompted, click Next.
  8. Click Yes to accept the license agreement.
  9. When prompted, click Next.
 10. When prompted to restart your computer, click Yes and then
     Finish.

UNINSTALL:

  1. Logon with administrative privileges.
  2. Right-click My Computer, and then click Properties.
  3. Click the Hardware tab, and then click Device Manager.
  4. Click the + sign in front of the System devices category.
  5. Double-click Mobile Intel(R)915GM/PM/GMS/910GML Express Processor
     to DRAM Controller - 2590.
  6. Click the Driver tab.
  7. Click Uninstall.
  8. When prompted, click OK.

UNATTENDED INSTALL:
This procedure is intended for system administrator use only.

  1. Logon with administrative privileges.
  2. Extract this package by double-clicking the downloaded file.
     The default extract location is C:\OSFIXES\INTELINF
  3. From a command prompt, navigate to the driver location.
  4. Change directory to CHIPSET(6.1.0.1008)
  3. Type "SETUP.EXE -S" and press Enter.
