WHAT THIS PACKAGE DOES

This package provides the Intel Wireless LAN Driver driver for 
Microsoft Windows XP users. The Wireless LAN driver enables or 
updates the wireless LAN function of the Intel wireless LAN adapter.

To determine if you should update the Wireless LAN driver refer to the
History of Changes section.

To update the wireless LAN driver refer to the Installation 
Instructions section.

Print this file so that you can refer to it during the installation.

INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS
-----------------------------------------------------------------------

DETERMINING WHICH VERSION IS INSTALLED:

1. Right-click My Computer and select Properties
2. Click the Hardware tab and select Device Manager
3. Click the + sign in front of the Network Adapters category
4. Double-click Intel(R) PRO/Wireless Network Connection
5. Click the Driver tab and the driver version will be displayed


INSTALL:

1. Start Microsoft Windows XP and log on with administrative 
   privileges
2. Extract the Intel Wireless LAN Driver files to the hard drive
   When downloaded file is extracted in the local drive, it is 
   located in C:\DRIVERS\WLLANINT directory by the default
3. Click Start and select Run
4. In the Open field type SETUP.EXE in the extracted directory
   to install the application. Click the OK button to start the 
   installation process. If you extracted the files to a different 
   location, specify that location instead.
5. Follow the instructions on the screen to complete the Installation.

UNINSTALL:

Uninstall Intel Wireless Lan

1. Logon with administrative privileges
  2. Click Start and then click Control Panel
  3. In the Control Panel window, click Add or Remove Programs
  4. Select Intel Wireless Lan
  5. Click Remove and select 
  6. When prompted click Yes
  7. when prompted to restart your computer click Yes and then Finish


UNATTENDED INSTALL(For Windows XP):

This procedure is intended for system administrator use only

  1. Logon with administrative privileges
  2. Extract this package by double-clicking the downloaded file
     The default extract location is C:\DRIVERS\WLLANINT
  3. From a command prompt navigate to the driver location
  4. Type SETUP.EXE -S and press Enter
