If the power management driver has been previously installed, updating the power management driver will fix problems, add new functions, or expand functions as noted below. Start Windows XP and logon with administrative privileges. 2. Double-click the driver package to extract it to your hard drive. The default location is C:\DRIVERS\Win\LPM 3. Click Start, then click Run... 4. Specify SETUP.EXE with the full path name where you extracted the package in step 2, and click OK. Example: C:\DRIVERS\Win\LPM\SETUP.EXE 5. Follow the instructions on the screen. 6. Click Finish to complete the installation and restart the system if necessary. Uninstall: 1. Start Windows XP and logon with administrative privileges. 2. Click Start, then click Control Panel. 3. Click Add/Remove Programs. 4. Select PM Driver. 5. Click Uninstall/Change. The driver will be uninstalled automatically. 6. If necessary, restart the system.
