What This Package Does
-----------------------
This package provides the display driver for Windows 2000/XP users.

This package enables or updates the display function of the following
ThinkPad computers:
  - ThinkPad T60, T60p (Machine Type: 20xx, 26xx)(*1)

  (Note)
   *1: Machine Types 19xx of ThinkPad T60 family are not supported. 
       Please get the additional package for them, and install it, as 
       well.

* This driver package requires the Microsoft .NET Framework
  Without the .NET framework, an error message will appear on the 
  desktop at every boot time. Also, ATI CATALYST Control Panel will 
  not work. The user cannot change display related settings.


To determine if you should update the display driver, refer to
the "Summary of Changes" section.

To update the display driver, refer to the "Installation
Instructions" section.

Installation instructions
--------------------------
 1. Start Windows 2000/XP and logon with administrative privileges.
 2. Extract the video drivers to the hard disk drive.
 3. Click Start, then click Run.
 4. In the Run dialog window, type C:\DRIVERS\WIN\VIDEO\SETUP.EXE
    to install the video driver. Click OK to start the installation
    process.  If you extracted the files to a different location,
    specify that location instead.
 5. When the Welcome window appears, click Next.
 6. At the Software Licence Agreement screen, if you agree, click Yes.
 7. At the Select Components screen, click Express.
 8. At the Setup Complete screen, select Yes, I want to restart my
    computer now.
 9. Click Finish to reboot the system and complete the installation.

Unattended install
------------------
 This is for system administrators' use only.
 1. Start Windows 2000/XP and logon with administrative privileges.
 2. Extract this package onto the hard drive.
 3. Click Start then click Run.
 4. Type C:\DRIVERS\WIN\VIDEO\SETUP /K -SMS and click OK.


Determining which version is installed
--------------------------------------
 1. Click Start, then click Control Panel.
 2. Click Appearance and Themes.
 3. Click Display.
 4. Select Settings.
 5. Click Advanced.
 6. Select "ATI CATALYST Control Center"  tab.
 7. Click "ATI CATALYST Control Center" button.
 8. Select "Information Center" in "Graphics Settings".
    The release version will appear under "Driver Package Version."
