What This Package Does
----------------------
This package provides the software support for the tablet buttons
on ThinkPad.  Only Windows XP Tablet PC Edition 2005 is supported.

The following model is supported:
  - ThinkPad X41 Tablet
  - ThinkPad X60 Tablet
  - ThinkPad X61 Tablet


* If you are using Tablet Shortcut Menu, please re-install the Tablet
  Shortcut Menu package after updating Tablet Button Driver.

Installation instructions
-------------------------
 1. Start Windows XP Tablet PC Edition 2005 and logon with 
    administrative privileges.
 2. Double-click the driver package to extract it to your hard drive.
    The default location is C:\DRIVERS\TBBTN
 3. Click Start, then click Run.
 4. Specify SETUP.EXE with the full path name where you extracted the 
    package in the step 2, and click OK.
    Example: C:\DRIVERS\TBBTN\SETUP.EXE.
 5. Click the OK button.
 6. Click OK.
 7. Select a language when Choose Setup Language popup panel appears,
    and click OK.
 8. Click Next.
 9. Restart the system.


Determining which version is installed
--------------------------------------
 1. Start Windows XP Tablet PC Edition 2005.
 2. For Windows XP with Classic Start menu, click Start, select 
    Settings, then click Control Panel.
    Otherwise, click Start, then click Control Panel.
 3. Double-click the Add or Remove Programs icon.
 4. Select "ThinkPad Tablet Button Driver".
 5. Click "Click here for support information" to view the version 
    number on the dialog panel.


UNATTENDED INSTALL:
 This is for system administrators' use only.
 1. Start Windows XP Tablet PC Edition 2005 and logon with 
    administrative privileges.
 2. Double-click the driver package to extract it to your hard drive.
    The default location is C:\DRIVERS\TBBTN
 3. Click Start, then click Run.
 4. Type [Program Path]\setup -s -SMS and click OK. [Program Path] is 
    the full path name where you extracted the package in the step 2.
    Example: C:\DRIVERS\TBBTN\SETUP -s -SMS
 5. Click the OK button.
