WHAT THIS PACKAGE DOES

  This package installs the Intel Turbo Memory Driver to enable
  Microsoft ReadyDrive and Microsoft ReadyBoost features.

  If this package has been installed, updating (overwrite-installing)
  this package will fix problems, add new functions, or expand
  functions as noted below.

  This program is language independent and can be used with any
  language system.

DETERMINING WHICH VERSION IS INSTALLED

Intel Flash Cache Logic Chip: 
  1. Click Start, then click Control Panel.
  2. Click System and Maintenance.
  3. Click System.
  4. Click Device Manager.
  5. Click the + sign in front of the Storage controllers category.
  6. Double-click 'Intel Flash Cache Logic Chip'.
  7. Click the 'Driver' tab.
     Then you will see the Driver Version.

Intel 82801HEM/HBM SATA AHCI Controller
  1. Click Start, then click Control Panel.
  2. Click System and Maintenance.
  3. Click System.
  4. Click Device Manager.
  5. Click the + sign in front of the IDE ATA/ATAPI controllers 
     category.
  6. Double-click 'Intel 82801HEM/HBM SATA AHCI Controller'.
  7. Click the 'Driver' tab.
     Then you will see the Driver Version.

INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS

Notes:
- If your computer runs satisfactorily now, it may not be necessary to
  update the software.
  To determine if you should update the software, refer to the Version
  Information section.


Manual Install

  1. Start Windows Vista and logon with administrative privileges. 
  2. Double-click the driver package to extract it to your hard drive.
     The default location is C:\DRIVERS\VISTA\Turbomem.
  3. Click Start, then click All Programs.
  4. Click Accessories, then click Run...
  5. Specify SETUP.EXE with the full path name where you extracted the
     package in the step 2, and click OK.
     Example: C:\DRIVERS\VISTA\Turbomem\SETUP.EXE
  6. Follow the instructions on the screen.
  7. Click Finish to reboot the system to complete the installation.


Unattended Install

  Note: This is for system administrators' use only.

  1. Start Windows Vista and logon with administrative privileges.
