  This package installs the software (ThinkPad UltraNav driver) to
  enable the ThinkPad UltraNav Pointing Device.

  Refer to marketing materials to find out what ThinkPad models
  support which devices.

  If this package has been installed, updating (overwrite-installing)
  this package will fix problems, add new functions, or expand
  functions as noted below.

INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS

Notes:
  If your computer runs satisfactorily now, it may not be necessary to
  update the software. To determine if you should update the software,
  refer to the Version Information section.


Manual Install

  1. Start Windows and logon with Administrative privileges.
  2. Extract this package onto the hard drive.
  3. Click the Start icon, then clilck Start Search.
  4. Type the Program Path where you extracted the file, and click OK.
     (For example)  C:\DRIVERS\...\DPInst.exe
  5. Follow the instructions on the screen.


Unattended Install

  This is for system administrators' use only.

  - Refer to the Manual Install section, and download and expand the
    files.
  - At the command line, execute DPInst.exe with the /sw /se /f
    options.
    (For example)
    [Path where the files were extracted]\DPInst /sw /se /f

Manual Uninstall

  Uninstallation is supported by Uninstall a program of Programs and
  Features in Control Panel.
  You have to logon with the user ID authorized as an administrator.
