What This Diskette Does
-----------------------
This diskette provides the PC Card software for Windows NT 4.0 users.
This diskette enables or updates the PC Card function of the following
ThinkPad computers:

  - ThinkPad 600E
  - ThinkPad 770X

To determine if you have to update the PC Card software or not, please
refer to the "Summary of Changes" section.

To update the PC Card software, please refer to the "Installation Guide"
section.

Installation Guide
------------------
(Note)
To determine if you have to update the PC Card software or not, please
refer to the "Summary of Changes" section.

Important
  - If your system is connected to a network, log off before starting
    installation.
  - You must install the Windows NT Service Pack before you install
    CardWizard. (If prompted to overwrite your OEM version of
    PCMCIA.SYS during service pack installation, select NO.)

To install the PC Card support software for Windows NT, you must be
logged on to Windows NT as administrator.

 1. Remove any PC Cards that are in the slot.
 2. Run PCTPZWNT.EXE to extract the installation files to your hard
    drive.
 3. At "The package has been delivered successfully" window, click OK.
 4. Click on Start -> RUN.
 5. Type C:\DRIVERS\NT\PCMCIA\SETUP and click "OK".
    NOTE: If you extracted the files to a different path, substitute that
          path in the RUN.

     Follow the instructions on the screen.

NOTE:
1. If upgrading over a previous version of CardWizard, the system will need
   to reboot to complete the unistall.  When system restarts, you will need
   to rerun the setup process.
2. If after installing this driver, your networking connection does not
   work, you will need to reinstall Windows NT Service Pack 3 or 4.
