Intel(R) 810/810E/815/815E video driver for Microsoft Windows 98, Me version 4.13.01.2732 README This package installs an update to the Microsoft(R) Windows(R) 98, Me device driver for the onboard Intel 810, 810E, 815, 815E video chipsets that comes preinstalled in your IBM(R) computer. This update requires approximately 3 MB of space on your hard disk (drive C). This update package is intended for Aptiva 2194-xx systems, excluding 23B, 32B, and 441, and IBM NetVista 2251-XXX, 2271-XXX, 6266-XXX, 6270-XXX, 6276-XXX, 6279-XXX, 6280-XXX, 6830-XXX, 6831-XXX, 6840-XXX, 6841-XXX, 6881-XXX systems that come with Intel 810, 810E, 815, or 815E video chipsets. Print this file so that you can refer to it during the installation. Downloading the update ---------------------- 1. Click the file link to download the file from the Web page. 2. When prompted, select a drive and directory in which to save the downloaded file. Installing the update --------------------- 1. Click Start, highlight Find, then click Files and folders. 2. Type e43z34us.exe in the search box, then click Find Now. This will locate the e43z34us.exe file you just downloaded. 3. Double-click the icon for e43z34us.exe. 4. Click Next. Read the license agreement. 5. Click I accept the terms in the license agreement. 6. Click Next. Ensure that Save files in folder is set to C:\IBMTOOLS\DRIVERS\E43Z34US. 7. Click Next. 8. Follow the onscreen prompts to complete the installation. Shutdown and restart your system when the installation is complete. Testing for successful installation ----------------------------------- 1. Right-click the My Computer icon on the desktop. 2. Click the Device Manager tab. 3. Click the plus sign next to Display Adapters to expand it. 4. Select the adapter description. 5. Click the Properties button. 6. Click the Driver tab. 7. Click the Driver File Details button. 8.
