README

This package installs an update to the Microsoft(R) Windows(R)
2000 device driver for the onboard Intel 810, 810E, 815, 815 video 
chipsets that comes preinstalled in your IBM(R) computer. This 
update requires approximately 19MB of space on your hard disk
(drive C).

This update package is intended for NetVista systems that come with
Intel 810, 810E, 815 video chipsets.

Print this file so that you can refer to it during the installation.


Downloading the update
----------------------
1. Click the file link to download the file from the Web page.
2. When prompted, select a drive and directory in which to save
   the downloaded file.


Installing the update
---------------------
1.  Click Start, select Search, then click Files and folders.
2.  Type e45z22us.exe in the search field, then click Find Now.
    This will locate the e45z22us.exe file you just downloaded. 
3.  Double-click the icon for e45z22us.exe.
4.  Click Next. Read the license agreement.
5.  Click I accept the terms in the license agreement. 
6.  Click Next.
7.  Ensure that "Save files in folder" is set to
    C:\IBMTOOLS\Drivers\E45Z22US.
8.  Click Next. 
9.  Follow the onscreen prompts to complete the installation. Shutdown 
    and restart your system when the installation is complete.


Testing for successful installation
-----------------------------------
1.  Make sure that your system is shut down and restarted before you
    continue.
2.  Click Start, select Settings, then click Control Panel.
3.  Double-click the Display icon.
4.  Click the Settings tab.
5.  Click Advanced.
6.  Click the Adapter tab.
7.  Verify that the software version is 5.13.01.2732.
