Installation README

This package installs an update to the Microsoft(R) Windows(R) 
95/98 device driver for the Conexant HCF V90 56K PCI Modem 
adapter that comes preinstalled in your IBM(R) NetVista(R) computer. 
This update requires approximately 8.0 MB of space on your hard disk 
(C: drive). 

Print this file so that you can refer to it during the installation.


Downloading the update
----------------------
1. Click the file link to download the file from the Web page.
2. When prompted, select a drive and directory in which to save
   the downloaded file.


Installing the update
---------------------
1.  Click Start, select Find, and then click Files or Folders.
2.  Type qq6z12us.exe in the search field, then click Find Now.
    This will locate the qq6z12us.exe file you just downloaded. 
3.  Double-click the icon for qq6z12us.exe.
4.  Click Next. Read the license agreement.
5.  Click I accept the terms in the license agreement.
6.  Click Next.
7.  Ensure that "Save files in folder" is set to
    C:\IBMTOOLS\DRIVERS\QQ6Z12US.
8.  Click Next.  Follow the onscreen prompts and choose to reboot at the
    end of installation.
