Intel(R) Ultra ATA storage driver for unattended install for Microsoft Windows NT 4.0 version 2.1 Installation Readme This package installs an Intel(R) IDE BusMaster driver for Microsoft Windows NT 4.0 on your IBM(R) NetVista(R) systems with the Intel(R) 82371FB/82371SB/82371AB/EB/MB and 82801AA/AB ATA Storage controllers. This update takes approximately 2MB of space on your hard disk (C:) drive. Print this file so that you can refer to it during the installation. Downloading the update ---------------------- 1. Click the file link to download the file from the Web page. 2. When prompted, select a drive and directory in which to save the downloaded file. Extracting the update --------------------- 1. Click Start, select Find, then click Files and folders. 2. Type pz2z27us.exe in the search field, then click Find Now. This will locate the pz2z27us.exe file you just downloaded. 3. Double-click the pz2z27us.exe icon. 4. Click Next. 5. Click I accept the terms in the license agreement. 6. Click Next. 7. Ensure that "Save files in folder" is set to C:\IBMTOOLS\DRIVERS\PZ2Z27US. 8. Click Next. 9. Follow the onscreen instructions to complete installation. Verifying correct installation - Windows NT 4.0 ----------------------------------------------- 1. Click Start, select Settings, then click Control Panel. 2. Double-click SCSI Adapters. 3. Click the Devices tab. IntelATA or Intel Ultra ATA Controller should be displayed.
