Open Properties of "Intel(R) PRO/100 SP Mobile Combo Adapter" in "Network adapters" and click "Driver" tab. 5. Click "Update Driver..." button 6. Select "Install from a list or specific location (Advanced)", and click "Next>". 7. Select "Search for the best driver in these locations". 8. Select "Include this location in the search". Click "Browse" button, click "+" mark to specify the Ethernet driver location, and click "OK". 9. Click "Next>", then the driver installation starts. 10. Click "Finish". 11. Close all of the screen. Right-click the My Computer icon. 2. Click Find. 3. Type one of the NDIS driver names in Named: field. For example, if you are using Windows 2000, type E100bnt5.sys in the field. 4. Click on the Find Now button. 5. It lists the NDIS driver(s). If it does not list the NDIS driver, the Ethernet device driver is not installed in your system. 6. Right-click on the NDIS driver that is found in the Windows folder. 7. Click on the Properties. 8. Click on the Version tab. 9. Click on the Product Version in the Items name: field. DOS NDIS2: 1. Find the file E100b.dos. 2. To determine if a driver update is needed, check the date of the driver file. If the date is older then 04/17/2001, then you need to update your driver. DOS ODI: 1.
