Updating the firmware on your IBM DLT 20/40GB tape backup unit is an easily applied 
process.  There are several methods of applying firmware to the tape units.  The v150d4_1.img file is a binary file used by the utility program found in document 
MIGR-4GEGY8 on the IBM PC Support web site.

v150d4_1.exe extracts to build v150d4_1.img diskette image file. This file contains the binary firmware programming code that is used in conjunction with BootASPI.EXE or 5500ASPI.EXE to update 20/40GB DLT tape drives to the D996 hex firmware version.
