Updating the firmware on your IBM DLT 35/70GB is an easily applied 
process.  There are several methods of applying firmware to the tape 
units.  The V96d71.img file is a binary file used by the DLT tools 
utility programs found in document MIGR-4GEGY8 on the IBM PC Support 
web site.
