Ø User configurable OSD resolution feature removed due to obsolescence of particular OSD chipset. 3.0 Installation and Setup Instructions ----------------------------------------- 3.1 Step by step instructions for this code update VERSION: 1.2.1 UPDATE PROCEDURE: Step 1. Connect the serial port of the switch to the COM port of your PC. Use a straight through RS232 cable. You will need to know the number of the PC's com port. Step 2. Run ProdUpdate.exe. Step 3. Select the desired Comm port. Step 4. Click the Load button. Step 5. Warning: While downloading, do not use your computer for anything else or switch Windows. The download requires constant control of your computer, and switching to another Window may cause the download to timeout. Step 6. If a timeout occurs during any of the downloads, run the ProdUpdateBS program again.
