Real Time Diagnostics can help you to diagnose certain devices on xSeries servers with IBM Director installed. This software can be used while the operating system is running. Be sure that IBM Director is installed on each server on which you want to install Real Time Diagnostics. 2. Download the .exe file. 3. Start the .exe file. The Installer window opens. 4. Click Next. Review the License Agreement. 5. Click Next. 6. Click Next. 7. Click Finish. You must install Real Time Diagnostics on your IBM Director management server, IBM Director management console, and on each IBM Director Agent managed system. If you are using IBM Director web-based access, install Real Time Diagnostics on your IBM Director Agent managed system only. 3.2 Installation for a Linux operating system 1. Be sure that IBM Director Server and management console (if available) is installed on each server on which you want to install Real Time Diagnostics. 2. Download the .tgz file; then, install the file on IBM Director Server and management console (if available). 3. Type tar -xvzf <.tgz Filename> to extract the file. 4.
