Also make sure the RSA II is configured for "Other OS". If either of these steps are not performed then the RSA II software installation may fail. Refer to the RSA II InstallationGuide and RSA II User's Guide for additional information. 2.0 Change History -------------------- Version 5.29 - Fixed a resource leak in the RSA II DLL. Version 5.28 - Fixed a memory leak in the RSA II system service. Version 5.27 - Internal build, not released. Version 5.26 - Added support for future IBM xSeries eServers. Version 5.25 - Added support for future IBM xSeries eServers. Version 5.24 - Fixed the installation software to display the correct messages when installing on systems with an incorrectly configured RSA II. Version 5.23 - Changed the README.TXT version number to match the internal version of the system management device driver so that all verbal, written and software references that identify the driver version will be consistent. Version 1.01 - Added support for future IBM xSeries eServers. Version 1.00 - IBM Remote Supervisor Adapter II Windows Server Software initial version. NOTE: The previous version of RSA2 Windows Server Software was included in the IBM Advanced System Management Windows Device Driver Diskette version 2.23. That package will no longer support for RSA II from version 2.24 onward. 3.0 Installation and Setup Instructions ----------------------------------------- 3.1 Installation steps: - Execute the RSA II package ( HLP409A.EXE ). - Follow the directions that appear on the screen. 3.2 Other: - Before installing the RSA II software, make sure the mini USB cable is connected between the RSA II and a USB port on the xSeries server. Also make sure the RSA II is configured for "Other OS". If either of these steps are not performed then the RSA II software installation may fail.
