This bios re-includes 800x600 as a mode and does not strech 800x600 to 1024x768. Previous bios's either removed 800x600 which caused issues in non-windows environments or remote video did not work at 800x600. 3.0 Installation and Setup Instructions ---------------------------------------- USING this F/W Update. Overview This FLASH update must only be used on the IBM RSA2 adapter. To use this FLASH update utility on the RSA2 adapter, follow the directions below: 1. Place the diskette in drive A and boot from it. NOTE: Your system must be set to boot to floppy first. 2. Turn your system on. 3. Follow the on-screen instructions until the update is complete. 4. Remove the floppy when the update is complete. 5. Reboot the system with either Ctrl+Alt+Del or by powering off, then back on. NOTE: Do not attempt to run this FLASH utlity from a DOS prompt under a Windows operating system. It will not work.
